If you’re a digital marketer, you probably have a certain set of associations in mind when hearing the mention of a “social media post”. In the past, you may have had to deal with finding specific image dimensions, generating varied copy for different marketing channels, uploading and downloading image files, and many other frustrations or annoyances you’ve probably experienced. We built FusionOS to remove these friction points. But how does it work?
FusionOS offers two workflows to generate social media assets more easily than ever before: 1/ Campaigns and 2/ App Actions. Campaigns are great for generating full-scale advertising campaigns complete with multiple creative directions and all needed asset dimensions for all channels, while App Actions are better for creating highly controlled workflows/ tasks that produce specific output. In this post, we will review how the App Action for generating a Facebook post works.
FusionOS offers integrations for many different social media channels. Find the action for the social media channel you want to post on, and click “Run”. Fill out the action card on the left with a few basic details about the post you want to make, and make sure to select the product you wish to promote at the bottom. When done, click “Run” in the lower right corner to get your post copy.
With your copy generated, you might want to look for an image generation action to create a visual for your post. We will use the “Change background” action from Photoroom, but many of FusionOS’s image-related app actions can work for this task. Here we used the same image URL as the product we used in the previous step and gave a few simple descriptors for the background.
With just a few clicks you’ve created both the copy and image content for a new Facebook post!
